Seadog is delighted to officially announce Laura Harris as our new Head of Development. Laura comes to Seadog with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the sector and we know she’ll have a fantastic impact on our broadcast development work. Laura’s bio is below.
Laura has more than 10 years experience producing science, natural history, drama-doc, history and adventure programmes for the UK and global markets including Secret Life of Dogs (ITV), Bear Grylls Ultimate Survivor (Discovery Channel), Richard Hammond’s Jungle Quest (Sky1), Man & Beast with Martin Clunes (ITV) and Nigel Farage, who are you? (C4). Her work in development has seen projects such as The Red List (wt)- the BBC Natural History Unit’s first ever non-BBC commission, greenlit for Discovery Channel, amongst other programmes across a range of broadcasters. Before moving to the west country, Laura worked in London at a range of independent companies including Atlantic Productions, Oxford Scientific Films, Darlow Smithson Productions and IWCMedia before joining the BBC’s Natural History Unit in Bristol. She now heads up the development team at Seadog.
